Dr. Kathleen O'Hara
Dr. O’Hara works together with her patients to restore symmetry of function by optimizing mobility, strength and co-ordination. Discussion of lifestyle issues, nutrition and exercise are part of her approach; she readily refers as needed to her wide network of health care professionals.
Gentle instrument-assisted adjusting (The Activator Method), traditional spinal and non-spinal manipulation/mobilization and soft tissues techniques are her preferred methods of treatment. The latter include myofascial trigger point therapy, applied kinesiology and the Graston technique for releasing fascial restrictions.
Dr. O’Hara is a 1982 cum laude graduate of Toronto’s Canadian MemorialChiropractic College. Prior to this she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana’s Ball State University and completed graduate coursework at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In 1989 she opened the multi-disciplinary clinic, Bloor-Avenue Chiropractic, and practiced there until her transition to ONE80health in December 2020.

Over the years I have had many experiences that have shaped the approach I take to understanding how symptoms arise and have always sought out to provide the most appropriate therapy for a particular condition.
I have termed my approach physical medicine & active rehabilitation. Physical medicine is defined as a remedy for treating, preventing, or alleviating the symptoms of disease (dis-ease) of the physical body which often prevents people from achieve optimal movement and performance. Physical medicine is also what I provide my patients as a means of optimizing their movement, performance and health. I integrate a variety of therapies such as Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), Instrument Assisted Fascial Release, Active Release Therapy (A.R.T.), Fascial Manipulation; Chiropractic Joint Manipulation and Mobilization; Osteopathic Manipulative Therapies; Contemporary Medical Acupuncture; Shockwave Therapy; Laser; Frequency Specific Microcurrent; and Kinesiology Taping to restore optimal function to the nervous system, muscles and joints in order to reduce pain and promote healing. Following this, active rehabilitation is used and is a combination of exercises, postures and movement corrections that are provided to my patients to ensure that you are able to return to full health, i.e., rehabilitate your body and prevent further pain, dysfunction and any exacerbation of your condition.

Tamara Salpeter
Tamara holds a Master in Practice diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMsc), from Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and is a member of Ontario Osteopathic Association as part of OSTCAN. With a background in theatre holding a BFA from York University, Tamara is also a circus artist and teacher and a yoga instructor (YTT 500+). Tamara’s introduction to osteopathic manual therapy was due to a chronic injury and she understands the importance feeling at home in your body. Applying her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Tamara gently, manually helps in removing restrictions of motion in joints, free up space for blood, lymphatic, and neurological flow, in order to restore health, balance, and communication of the body’s systems.
